I guess I am not the best soccer mom on the planet! It was so nice to stay home for a peaceful Monday evening last night. To think that the next 18 years of my life I will be sitting at sporting events week after week after week... I need an attitude adjustment!!! Anyway, here are some pictures of Caleb at his last game. I am not sure they are true depictions of what we sat through, being that he actually looks like he is playing instead of working the crowd. He is definitely more interested in socializing than actually playing the game! But he loved every single second of it and has been wearing a soccer uniform DAILY for about 3 months. (He was in tears this morning when I took away his cleats for the day because he lied to me. Finally found the kid's sticking point!)
When I told him that the season was over, he said, "That's okay. We can just sign up again!" At his end of the season party the coach gave him the title of most improved player, so at least he is making progress!
